How it works
From the first call to a cleaner record
Six steps, and you are never alone in any of them.
- 01
Step 1: You get in touch
Call, text, write or walk in on a Saturday. Tell us what you can. A few questions about income and household help us see whether you qualify.
- 02
Step 2: We pull your record
We get the official record, so you don't have to remember every date and charge. You'll see it laid out on paper.
- 03
Step 3: You get a plain plan
What can be cleared, what can't, in what order, and what it will take. If we can't help, we say so and point you to someone who can.
- 04
Step 4: We file for you
We prepare the papers, send them to the court and ask for any fee to be waived. You sign, we handle the rest.
- 05
Step 5: The hearing, if there is one
Some courts decide on paper, some hold a short hearing. We prepare you, and a lawyer goes with you.
- 06
Step 6: After the order
You get a copy. We help you notify background companies and tell you how to answer questions on applications.
Timing
How long this takes
We can't give a single number, because courts set their own calendars.
Some petitions are decided in a few months, and others take longer, especially when a hearing is needed or a waiting period has to pass first. Once we have looked at your record, we tell you what to expect where you live, and we check in as things move.
Start with step one.
A free talk costs nothing, and you leave knowing where you stand.
