Delroy Linwood

Supervising attorney

Reads every petition before it is filed and prepares clients for hearings.

Delroy has spent his career in the courts of central Pennsylvania, and he knows how judges read a petition. At the clinic he reviews every filing, trains new volunteers and stands next to clients who have a hearing. He is calm about the nervous parts and honest about the odds.

Getting ready for a hearing

Most clients have never been in a courtroom for a good reason. Delroy walks them through where to sit, who will speak and what the judge may ask, so the day holds no surprises.

He also teaches the volunteers, so that whoever you meet on a Saturday knows what he knows.
